Will was commissioned to make the Altar, Aumbrey and Stocks,Tabernacle, Sconce and Gospel Stand.

Aumbrey with solid silver olive branch and jade olives
Free blown Stocks
The initial commission was to blow three stocks to hold essential oils., this quickly morphed into making the cabinet (Aumbrey) as well.
I was really pleased with this piece, it stands near the entrance to the church on a solid white concrete plinth.
The edges on the uprights have all been handworked. I liked the glittery effect combined with quite sharp edges - almost as a warning that the contents are precious.

Tabernacle, sconce and gospel stand.
The tabernacle is actually the silver box that the glass sits around. It is evidently priceless. The whole piece is alarmed and securely fixed to the concrete plinth.
The cross on the top is laser cut stainless steel.
These three pieces sit dead centre at the back of the church, directly behind the altar

Altar with cast concrete top, imbedded with 5 glass crosses
The altar sits across a rill which runs round the main part of the church, Leds light the altar from beneath while there are floor level spots around two sides.
The altar can only be seen for three days a year without a covering!
We reckoned that the glass weighed over half a ton in this piece.
It was cold bonded in situ over three days - which was a tad tense, because of the edge detail it was very hard to get an accurate upright reading on any of the twelve corners and essentially we had to eyeball each angle before bonding. It was important to get the right feel to the whole structure and to make it seem as if it had always been there.
