Delivery Information


Making a purchase on our web site couldn't be easier.Simply make your choice and then follow the instructions. 

If you prefer you can place your order by telephone or by post. If paying by sterling cheque please allow 4 days for clearance.

We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days, but this is not always possible. If you have a particular requirement please let us know.


UK Mainland Deliveries

We know that posting glass can be expensive so we aim to keep our prices as low as possible.

These charges are for the UK mainland only and are per address. For delivery to Eire and all of the Islands including The Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Highlands of Scotland please contact us for a quote at cost.

For orders of up to 200grams we charge £2.50. For example jewellery.

For orders of 201grams to 500grams we charge £3.00. For example baubles.

For orders of 501grams to 1200grams we charge £5.00. This would be for a small item such as a Quebec dish.

For orders of 1201grams to 2000grams we charge £8.00. For example a Nougat nut bowl.

For orders of 2001grams to 3500grams we charge £12.00.

For orders over 3501grams we charge £15.00.

Orders under 2000grams (2kg) will be sent via Royal Mail first class and will need to be signed for. If nobody is in to accept the delivery a card will be left and it will then be the recipients responsibility to contact the post office and arrange delivery. 

Orders over 2000grams will be sent by courier and will also require a signature.

All prices include packaging. Please note that we weigh each piece but make an estimate for packaging.


International Deliveries

Please note that medium and large Tableaux are not suitable to be posted or sent by courier and must be collected from our gallery in Taunton with any other items in the order.


In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, missing or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.


If  we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier.


Returns and exchanges

  • We offer a full money back guarantee.
  • You have 14 days from receipt in which to return your order.
  • You will have to pay the return cost of postage, or collection can be arranged at your cost for larger items.
  • You must return any orders packaged as they were received using similar packaging. Further advice can be found at the bottom of this page or contact us for help.
  • Responsibility for returning items is with the buyer.

    We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Shakspeare Glass and are proud of the quality, range and advice that we offer. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it (cancel your contract);

  • Please contact us within 7 working days from the day after the delivery day.
  • Contact us via Email or in writing.
  • Please complete the details on the returns note, supplied with goods.
  • Return it to us with the products original packaging and labels within 14 days of receipt.
  • All goods to be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
  • We recommend that all items returned to us to be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery with insurance paid as a minimum or collection can be arranged at your cost.
  • If you feel the goods are faulty please contact us immediately and we will then contact you to resolve the matter, the above conditions also apply.
  • Full returns address with telephone number and email address.
  • Please note that if an item is specially commissioned the above is no longer applicable. Please contact us to discuss further.

To return items

  • Each item should be wrapped separately in bubble wrap.
  • Perfume bottle stoppers should be wrapped separately from the bottle.
  • Each item should be placed in a sturdy box with plenty of packaging materials to separate it from other items and from the sides of the box.
  • It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the goods are returned to us in good order and undamaged.
