Hanging Tableaux
These really are some of my favourite pieces. They bring together so many different aspects of my work.
I have always been fascinated by rockpools and the sea. Not just the amazing creatures but all the flora, the movement and the reflections. You can go back to the same places and discover something new and magical every time.
These pieces are almost like a 3 dimensional snapshot of the impression of a pool. I like the way that they change in different lights and that they have a depth to them. I would hope that like the pools you can walk past them and see something different each time. |
