I had always wanted to make a glass gabion, having been fascinated by the huge structures on the sides of motorways.
Finally I got my act together, the initial design sat atop a square steel column about a metre high, but when I had put all of the bits together I really preferred the gabion coming out of the ground.
This one sits at the bottom of my drive and is fitted with white leds, attached to a motion sensor that lights it up when anyone drives past.
